On the 9th of August 2020, Greg Holden, American Master in Shot-put threw an American Record in the category 60-64 year, 5K Shot put at the Arizona Desert Throwers, Scottsdale, USA.

The official distance with the ATE Aspero Shot-put was 17.38m / 57’-0” (17.41m with the pre-steel tape).

Greg Holden: ‘The 5k 119mm is the best I have thrown. Didn’t think there could be that much of a difference, because I train with several different weights and sizes 5,6 & 7k.

The 5k Aspero Shotput is the perfect size for my muscle memory that allowed me to exceed my high school marks with a 12″ shot. Balance and texture that holds my chalk is unparalleled.  Happy that I purchased this in time to train and throw it enough to reach and exceed my goals this crazy year! 2020 !  It also helped to have Several Olympians and a Olympic hopeful there to raise the level of excitement.

18m+ is the World Record mark ! Who knows? I didn’t expect this one! 17.38m AR ! 1m to go ! On to 2021!’

By combining our experience of 60 years of production, we are able to produce the best shot-put on the market.

This new Aspero Shot put is the most perfectly balanced shot put in the world without any kind of lead filling.

By using special techniques, the exterior has the best grip there is, without experiencing a rough exterior, even in bad weather conditions or when you are sweating or using chalk.
